Are you kidding me with that face?
It’s Rosie’s third birthday today, which means she’s no longer 2, which means … well, I’m not sure what it means, because 3 seems a whole lot like 2. But then again, I mean … that face! That face! I love her big brothers to the end of the earth, but Rosie absolutely owns me.
Otherwise, it wasn’t exactly a perfect day. I learned what I had feared — our desktop Sony is toast, which puts a serious wrinkle into this whole video upload thing. We’ve got a MacBook that doesn’t seem to like the sort of video file we’re using, and a PC laptop that apparently feels the same way. Is it possible that the only computer in the world that accepted these video files is the one that just died? Don’t know, but I’m starting to panic, because we’re about 16 files behind now in terms of what’s up on the site, and still don’t have a solution in mind. Gulp.
And as for the shooting, for the second time in three nights I was pretty much nodding off while standing at the line. Worse yet, Dad took one hard off the nose — CRACK! — that I was sure was going to end the night, but he insisted on staying. So on we went … 446, 447, 448 … onward to 1,000 in about an hour and a half.
That’s 108,267 down, 891,733 to go to 1 million.
And a mere 364 days until Rosie turns 4. Love you, baby.
