April 15-16: 1,200 times two … and snow

16 Apr

I’m not sure exactly what frostbite feels like, but I think my fingertips almost do.

Yikes.  It really didn’t seem that cold when I first stepped out there this morning, but I guess it was, because by the time 1,150 or so rolled around, the extremities on my left hand had checked out.  Fortunately, we only needed Lefty as a guide, and Righty held up much better.

In any case, the weather was doing this …

Shouldn’t be unexpected, I guess, but still …

So it was a fast 1,200 last night, and a bit-slower 1,200 this morning, and across the 225,000 mark … at 225,007 down, 774,993 to go to 1 million made foul shots.
