April 13: Late night with Pat and Brian

10 May

Here’s what I love about these guys, in addition to the fact that they take real good care of the Epsom Central School, which in turn takes real good care of Things 1 and 2, and assumedly will someday take care of Thing 3, assuming she isn’t locked up by then.

(That was a joke.)

(I hope.)

As I was saying, what I love about ECS Principal Pat Connors and Assistant Principal Brian Beaverstock is that even after a dreadfully long school board meeting, deep into the evening, they are still ready, willing and very much able to collect a few rebounds on our way to 1 million made foul shots.

It was past 9 p.m. when our April 13 meeting adjourned, so I was very prepared to hear the words, “Not tonight.”  Instead, they fired up the hoopin’ shoes and led me to the gym.  They’d have gone longer, too, but after 1,000 I decided to call it quits, leaving us at 745,507 down, 254,493 to go to 1 million made foul shots.

Thanks again, Gentlemen.
