You’re practically glistening, ECS gymnasium floor!
Nothing quite like shiny new basketball hardwood. That’s what we returned to last night, having spent the previous two months and two days away from the Epsom Central School gym, mostly because that basketball-toting, crowned Epsom Eagle you see up there was getting a July makeover. So of course we’re smiling.
If you haven’t met, that’s ECS principal Pat Connors in the middle, and assistant principal Brian Beaverstock on the right. Long ago they said they’d commit to joining me after any and all school board meetings, and once again they lived up to that promise … pulling them down and passing them back for 1,500 made foul shots after one of the most efficient meetings I’ve ever experienced (Thank you, Madam Chair, Ms. Joy Tyrrell).
Only a few school board meetings left until we’re at 1 million (hoops, not meetings), guys. Thanks again.
